Love In Paradise-- Aspen + Jordan Married in Mexico

I first met Aspen + Jordan at their engagement session last spring, having only communicated via text and email prior. Aspen contacted me out of pure trust of our mutual gal pal, Josie (thanks, love!), to capture their engagement session in Oshkosh! We totally hit it off and at the end of our session, Aspen mentioned that they had yet to find a photographer for their destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. That lead to my obvious expression of interest and we began to communicate quite frequently. Before I knew it, Aspen was asking ME to travel from Madison, Wisconsin to MEXICO with them to capture their wedding day! I was THRILLED! Not only were they giving my first destination wedding opportunity, but they were allowing me to document a part of their incredible love story! Aspen and Jordan have spent just about half of their lives together...YES, that means they have been together since the sixth grade! I knew that we were the perfect fit and I love how we went from just a photographer/client relationship, to a photographer/client AND friend relationship! Fast forward to May 16th, 2018 where I woke up in Mexico to capture the sweet love of Aspen + Jordan. The day could not have been anymore perfect (except maybe the kitchen not losing our lunch order lol!) Surrounded by their closest friends and family from near and far, matched with the perfect ocean breeze, and a stunning wedding party made for some of the best memories! Enjoy! :) During the rehearsal dinner, along with their parents, Aspen + Jordan prepared for an extremely thoughtful surprise for his family. Friends from Iceland decided to attend their wedding unbeknownst to the rest of the family and it was such a beautiful moment to photograph, we were all a little teary-eyed! Have you ever seen a more beautiful wedding bunch?! And those robes! I mean come on, their wedding party was absolutely stunning and not to mention, a complete blast to spend 4 days in Mexico with!! Congratulations again, Aspen + Jordan, I am so grateful for you two and I love watching you take on your new journey as husband and wife! You gave me a wedding experience I will never forget!A HUGE shout out to Jennie and Kim for working their magic on the hair and makeup for the ladies! Their hair and makeup lasted all day and night through the crazy Caribbean humidity and photographed wonderfully! xxKaley Rae
