Lovers in La Push, Washington

I am pretty behind on blog posts over here, both in part from catching up from the summer and fall craziness I was insanely blessed with, and also because I was simply just trying to breathe for a little bit. :) During the summer to fall transition, I hopped on a plane from Milwaukee, WI to visit my best friend and her boyfriend in Seattle, WA. It was by far one of the best, long weekends I've ever had and not to mention, something I desperately was in need of!! Meg and Andrew showed me some of their favorite places around the city and were even up for my idea of traveling up to La Push to explore and take photos of them! The La Push Beach area had some of the most magical light and we really wished we had brought camping gear to stay the night. We made it to Biscuit Bitch, Pike's Place Market, Bainbridge Island, the Gum Wall, Forks, WA and so many other awesome places. These portraits are some of my favorites I've ever taken and it's fitting that they are of two of my favorite people. I feel so blessed to have people I love located all over the states that open up their homes to me, and even more blessed to have friends like these. Meg + Andrew, thank you for the best weekend filled with the ocean, wine, puppy snuggles, ferry rides, charcuterie boards, and enough laughter to fill my tank for a long time!
