A Rainy, Wisconsin Backyard Wedding

Oh my! Where to even begin with this one. Let me first start by saying that Haley and Jay are two incredibly vibrant and loving people with extremely contagious personalities. These two experienced some bumps in the planning process, but I am so grateful that I was there with them through it! Haley and Jay wed on a rainy August day, but it didn't phase them one bit, in fact, they embraced the rain, as did every single member of their awesome wedding party!Jay and Haley had an intimate first look + letter reading with one another before the ceremony where their love and dedication to one another was once again, incredibly evident! To kick off the ceremony, their maid of honor and best man, recited the fairytale that brought these two together. (I have never seen this before and absolutely adore the idea!) Haley is an artist, so during their ceremony, they chose to blindly draw portraits of one another. We all could not stop laughing at this (you need to look at these photos)!!Witnessing (and capturing!) Haley and Jay and all of their loved ones symbolizes why I do what I do. Completely immersing myself into someone's love story and providing them with images so they are able to share it years later is simply priceless.I hope you enjoy a glimpse into Haley and Jay's special day! And for the record, all wedding photographers.. find yourself a bride who can sing (rap) all of the words to Starships by Nicki Minaj with her bridesmaids.
